What tasty beverages have you been enjoying lately?
Lagavulin 16 yo

The top things I have open, right now are:

- Remy-Martin XO cognac
- Grand Marnier 150th Anniversary

I've been drinking a lot of wine lately. But I'll still have the occasional Laphroaig or Van Winkle to lighten my spirits.

What's the point of dating without games? How do you know if you're winning or losing?-Jerry Seinfield
The infusion bill for Hendrick's includes the usual plus rose petals and cucumber. Is it intense? No. Does it complement the other goodies used in the infusion and make the tastiest gin? Yes.
Oh, I understand that. All gin is basically vodka (GNS) infused with various botanicals, primarily juniper. I have no problem with cucumber being one of them.
But I thought he was talking about adding a slice or stick of cucumber to his drink, like an olive in a martini. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.![]()

Dorothy Parker was a popular poet and critic during the era of sophistication (40's - 60's, I think). While we have had a couple of her witticisms about martinis, she was really a serious poet.
Let's see. Here's a good link to get you started. Apparently, her career was much more lengthy than I had realized.
