    Default Newb checking in

    So B&B, how is my setup so far?

    It's been a slow progression from solely electric shaving to cartridge razors then wet shaving. I've been lurking here and other sites for a while. Motivated me to start anew with a Merkur HD but quickly picked up a 1954 Gillette Super Speed Z3 which feels better in the hand and seems to shave better for me. I'll be passing the MerkurHD and best badger brush around work to recruit more wet shavers. Also, still working on getting a smooth shave with the Dovo Bismark straight.

    The rest of the kit:
    Kent BK4
    D.R. Harris Marlborough
    Aqua Velva AS
    Clubman AS
    Col Conk wood stand
    Yosemite Mug (largest I've found yet, still has some Col Conk in the bottom)
    Rup Razor Filly strop





    On the short list to buy:
    MWF
    Tabac
    D.R.Harris Arlington soap & preshave (not crazy about the marlborough)
    Proraso ASB & Cream
    Feather,Derby & Isreali blades
    Gillette 50s SS redtip
