i finished this razor on the Naniwa 10k without finishing on the Natural Japanese Kiita and it's been giving supremely superb shaves for days!
Boker 95, Tabac soap + TBS Macca Root cream, alum, Thayers Rose, Nivea Sensitive.

SMN is different than Proraso/CO Bigelow. I'm convinced of that after only two shaves with it. It smells similar, but that's where the similarity ends. The protection/moisturizing/lubrication it delivers is far and away better for me than its cheaper cousins. I don't know that I'd drop $50 for a tub, though.
This has been my shave of the month so far.

Hey Gentlemen,
Here is my shave for the day! Was so enamored with this shave that I forgot to put on aftershave, so none today.
Breakdown of today's shave:
Cream: Proraso (obviously)
Razor: 1960 Gillette 195 adjustable "fat boy"
Blade: Astra super platinum (as box shows. Wow what a difference from the Walgreens blades!)
Brush: unknown badger (?) from Uncle. (I normally use a cheap VanderHagen boar brush, but got this from my brother who has gone full beard)
B&B Essential Brush
Red Pack Personna
Gillette 3-piece black-handled W1 1976
Green Mountain #10 formula
Nautica aftershave splash
Nice shave for choir practice tonight and very good timing for my 2000th post at the wonderful Badger and Blade.![]()

Taylor of Old Bond Street Mr. Taylors cream
Muhle R89 with Gillette "Swede" blade
Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel w/ alcohol
Clinique Post-Shave Healer
Knize 10 EdT
The Taylor's is a nice cream, particularly at its price point. Mr. Taylors is a great complement to woody and leathery fragrances.
