Default FS: Re-Knotted Vintage Butterscotch SIMPSON "Special" brush

This is a re-branded simpson "special". Funny thing though is that is looks and measures exactly like a simpson "case". However handle is labeled "special".

    Handle Reads:

    ARMY & NAVY
    STORES LONDON
    SPECIAL
    PURE BADGER
    SIMPSON

It's pretty faint but unmistakable. Handle has a small crack on the back. Crack does not go all the way through the handle. Otherwise this thing is almost perfect. Took a great polish. Brush stands 87mm. Handle is 43 and Loft is 44mm. This would make a superb face lathering brush. Its even small enough to use for travel.

Brush has been re-knotted with a new 20mm two band Finest Badger knot from Golden nib. This is a fan shaped knot.

Price is $45 shipped CONUS. Please PM for shipping elsewhere. I will ship to most countries.

Damnit. I almost can't afford it. But I NEED it. PM sent.

It is the perfect match for my two Brit. Gillette service sets.

    Regards.

Aww man. I'm soo picky about cracks. If it wasn't for that crack, I would've been out a 45 dollars I should not be spending on shaving stuff

I have been looking for a nice butterscotch Simpson for a while - aswell as a brit military issue brush to go with my beloved service sets. Now I get both in one. Awesome!

I am looking forward to this brush very much.

    Regards.
