    where from here?
I would like to venture into colognes etc but feel the need for advice.
As a newbie I've purchased the typical ASBs. CE nomad / TH Grafton / L'Occitane pour homme / Guerlaine heritage. I ponied up for TH Grafton Cologne but SWMBO says it's sketchy. I like it anyway. She goes for the Guerlaine.
I'm reluctant but not averse to $>100 but I'm also not deeply committed to scent as a lifestyle. As a noob I reserve the right to dabble.
    So cologne suggestions please?
    TIA

Penhaligon's Endymion. Smells great, and not an old man's scent at all. More complex than T&H 1805.

    T&H 1805. Smells good. Period.

Lolita Lempicka. Has an anise (licorice) note and a nice vanilla note. Women go crazy for this scent. This is one my favorite scents of all time.

    +1 on Endymion.

So the partner says that Grafton is "sketchy"... How very inarticulate of them! Maybe if they could give you a better idea about their perceptions of it's positive and/or negative attributes, you'd be in a better position to "accommodate" them.

"Deeply committed to scent as a lifestyle" That is freakin' awesome, man. I might have to put that in my signature!

    hmm...
"sketchy" was my word not hers. I clearly don't talk good.
There's only irony in that she was enthusiastic about the Grafton ASB. I don't pretend to understand women.
    no copyright or left. enjoy.
