Default Pinaud Eau du Quinne - Question

    Hi folks,

I purchased a bottle of this product and I really like the smell but I'm not really sure how it should be applied. Do I put a dab in my hand and massage into my hair and leave it, do I rinse it out, do I apply with the bottle to the scalp, etc?

I have looked around at a couple of sites and the scent and what it really does have been very vague. I'd love to hear from any users as to what their experience has been, good or bad, with this product.

    Thanks!
    Seth

I've used it a couple of different ways. After a shower, after my hair is mostly dried, I'll put some in my palms and rub it into my hair and scalp, and then continue drying with a towel. Other times, like mid-day or in the evening, I'll use it the way I would water, for combing my hair -- rub a little bit into the hair and scalp and proceed to comb, and let it dry naturally. I think of it more as a conditioner.

Hmm, does it smell like a gin and tonic?

No, but it does help prevent your hair from contracting malaria.

Hey Seth, grab a blue 2-4 oz. bottle with an atomiser cap and try that. It's what I do. I think the atomiser applies the product better, wastes a lot less, and does't let you over apply to certain spots creating a wet, moppy appearance. I usually apply it to slightly damp, freshly washed hair. I have the Eau de Quinine and Eau de Portugal tonics from Pinaud and love them. Two of the nicest scents around.

    Regards ,Todd

I use this product every day, just massage the tonic through your hair and into your scalp, then proceed with whatever (if any) product you would normally use.
This stuff is great for getting rid of any dandruff etc.
