Merkur Customer Service

A few days ago, my beloved Barberpole Slant decided to give up the ghost.

The threaded shaft on the head plate came away from the plate itself. Now it had always been a tiny bit wobbly but I was devastated when it broke.

Having read that Anne Rothstein, the overseas customer representative at Merkur in Germany had assisted other members in the past, I emailed her my tale of woe and she sent me a replacement the next day in the post, free of charge AND it arrived insied a couple of days.

Now that is what I call customer service.

gone down south

Some people have reported it's hard to get hold of her, but once you have her attention Ann takes good care of you!
 
Thats good to know as 90% of my razors are Merkur. So far there has been no problems at all, but should one arise I'll know where to turn. :biggrin: :001_rolle :tongue:
 
I had the same thing happen on my 38c. I emailed her but she hasn't responded. What email address did you use?
 
I sent her a second email after my last post including my address and she just responded saying she is sending me a replacement head!
