Default Finally! A Den. Of sorts.

Well, one of my acquisitions this weekend was a jeweler's box. I've been looking (for probably a year now) for something to hold the fruits of my labor. While I have something specific in mind for the full collection, this is a good start.

I'm just glad to be able to organize a part of my pile of razors over-running the house collection. Now, on with the show!

Quite nice. Nice variety of collectables and shavers. I like the "trunk-like dresser furniture piece" they're in.

    Thanks, guys!

My home is small. So, there's no room for something big.

I have my eyes open for a specific type of corner display case that will fit nicely in one part of the dining room.

Until then, this will do. My socks were tired of being kicked out of their drawer.

Having worked as a machinist or with machinists most of my life, your chest reminds me of Gerstner toolboxes. They make custom hardwood boxes for tools, collections, jewelry, etc. They are expensive, but they are top of the line quality. You certainly have a nice piece there!

A few months ago, I found an old Craftsman wooden tool box. It would have been perfect. But some pieces of the wood had warped, so drawers didn't slide well or close easily. Plus the asking price was $750. Even without the warping, that would have been too pricey.

But it was a beautiful piece of work. The Gerstner boxes are very nice looking.

I love the box, Brent. Looks classy. I'll bet it elevates the importance of your collection in your own mind. Now it has a fitting home.
