I've just picked up a Ranger Tech I bought yesterday on eBay (local Seller). No pics yet, I'll shoot some and post them up in a bit.
The Wiki says they were made in 1941, but production then ended due to the war. They show a pic, in which the "wings" of the center bar are tapered towards the top. Country Joe posted a thread yesterday, about a '46 Ranger Tech. I wasn't aware they existed, but now think mine probably is a '46. The wings on my center bar are squared, just like on a '47 Super Speed. So I suspect it's a '46. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, my cased Ranger Tech had the typical slot in the case for a pack of blades, a blade safe or dispenser. Does anyone know what would be the proper piece to fill this opening?

. Obviously I was mistaken, I'd have sworn there was a pic like that in the Wiki (there isn't). Thinking back, I probably associated this one with the Wiki, as that is what I used to ID this razor as a Ranger Tech (remember, still a noob
, is it too late for me to plea newbie ignorance?
). I'll edit a note into my gibberish above, I guess I presumed this was what a '41 center bar looked like. I should have realized my mistake, as going back even to the '41 Aristocrat, the wings are the same as the '46/'47.
