I have one almost exactly like lax1maxr's 750 except mine is butterscotch and has the original badger hair still intact. I will try to post a pic, savant if you pm me your email I can send a pic directly for your chart.

Ever-Ready as a company made brushes, razors, and blades. They were a subsidiary of American Safety Razor, which still exists. Check out the website here http://www.personna.com/personna/flash/timeblue.swf. Its a time line of the company and in 1905 the Yankee Company changed its name to EverReady which started making brushes in 1915. I've contacted the company to see if they have any more information.

I picked up these handles yesterday with an eye to installing new knots. The table lists the handles from left to right in the photo.

Model / Hair / Knot / LOFT / Handle / Total / Color
300PBT / Badger / 16 / 42 / 56 / 98 / Red over Black with chrome ring
100T / Boar / 19 / 54 / 52 / 106 / White over Black
200T / Boar / 21 / 42(?) / 52 / 94(?) / Turquoise over White
C40 / Boar / 21 / 50 / 52 / 102 / White over Red

When I removed the knot from the 200T (2nd from right), I found that it was hollow - more work ahead!

Dave
Dave, have you found a knot that works for the 300PBT? I have that same model and have wanted to replace the poor quality knot with something better, but it's darned small.

Dave

Sorry I did not capture all the data on my EverReady 150 prior to restore.

However, it was 20mm boar, and I purchased it in 1974. It gave me decades of service before the bristles started shedding from the middle out.

I replaced the knot with an 18mm Best Badger from Golden Nib.

This puts an old old friend back in weekly service.
