IP in A HD

I just tried an IP from the Sampler pack. I put it into my HD and it was no better then the Wal-Mart PErsonnas. It cut me bad and after 3 passes I still had a lot of stubble with lots of tugging. Has anybody else experienced this? Could I have had a bad blade?

Tomorrow I try it with my Superspeed and hopefully get better results. Today I used A Mama Bear soap(which is great) and the closeness this time was not appreciated

I get better results with an IP in my HD than with any other blade. So I suppose it could be a bad blade, or maybe that particular brand of blade just doesn't agree with you.

I did not get a great shave with the IP's, in-fact i gave them away. I gave them two runs but no change.

For me, I can only use an IP with my Merkur progress, dialed to 5....and but it works fantastic. Great results every time


For whatever reason though, an IP seems dull in every other razor I have.

I just finished using an IP in my HD to round out my sampler pack. While it wasn't my favorite, I found it to give me very good shaves and I was satisfied with the results. I would definitely not hesitate to use again.

I really like the IPs especially with a heavier razor like the Futur or Fat-Boy. If I'm going to use a lighter razor I will go with a Feather or maybe a Merkur. Sounds like you got a bad one.
