...on 'dull' blades and getting cut.

From the do-as-I-say, not-do-as-I-do department. . .

I've often cautioned that 'dull' blades that struggle cutting whiskers can easily cut you. This was reinforced tonight as I was cleaning a razor, and noticed blood dripping on the bathroom counter. Yup, I suffered a small cut (that bled like crazy) on my ring finger.

This was with a 'dull' blade, and I didn't even feel it. No pain or sting 'at all'. I must have done it somehow, when removing the blade and putting it in the blade bank. A little styptic and some direct pressure staunched the bleeding. Anyway, I just caution everyone to be attentive when handling blades.

Speedy recovery my friend.

I've just started swapping blades from razor to razor. No problems so far, but this post will make me extra careful. Hope the cut wasn't too bad, and this is a good heads up. :001_rolle :thumbup1:
