Here are some closer photos of the collection. I also added a couple photos of some favorites.

Very nice. I love the razors and blade boxes displayed outside the closed cases. Some cases are just too beautiful to only show the interior.

You set some high standards for that collection. I especially like the double ring and officer's set. What is the case with the multi-colors on the inside?

Stunning. Your own private Gillette museum. Thanks for opening up to the public here . Methinks you need a website.

It's called the waterfall type in the Krumholz book. It was made after 1921 so no date on the razor. The colored inside appears to be painted on what feels like a wallpaper texture material. The outside shell of the case fells like a plastic material and is sculpted to appear like rippling water. It's an interesting piece.

You have very good taste. They happen to be the most expensive sets in the collection.

Wow, I've never seen or heard of that. That is pretty interesting--very nice piece. You've probably acquired the collection from a bunch of various places, but where was your main source? Out of curiosity.

I bought two of the Single Rings from the B/S/T forum. i bought a couple from Country Joe and the rest came from ebay. The nicest and most reasonable came from sellers who don't normally sell razors. Most of the top shelf Super Speeds came from razor sellers. However it took me a long time to get the proper cases for them. In some instances the cases were great but the razors weren't. The razors from those sets were cleaned up and are in my rotation in the shave den. About half of my open comb razors were bin on ebay from razor sellers/collectors. Those are the most expensive but also the hardest to find.

Beautiful collection, Len! If that's my (former) Single Ring I see, I like it much better with its contemporaries, rather than sitting around with my "youngster" Gillettes! Outstanding!

Yes it sure is. It looks very nice sitting right next to an older sibling, thank you.
