Mary Travers

Just read that Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary died to day. She had leukemia and had battled it for several years.

I saw PP&M live in Pittsburgh in 1966, they put on a great show. I will miss her.

"And puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar."

"Puff The Magic Dragon" sounds extra sad tonight.

She was one of the great voices of the folk era. She will be missed.:c17

I was born a few years before Peter Paul & Mary arrived on the scene. My oldest sister had some of their records, and their music was part of the soundtrack of my childhood. I have nothing but good memories associated with Peter Paul & Mary.
