Could there be anyway where the site could be formatted to be read in mobile devices such as blackberries or iphones?

I know this has been beaten to death, but since the question has been asked.
Some sort of feedback system, or even a single sticky thread to acknowledge transactions on the BST section.

The only thing I can possibly think of is to change the search feature. It won't let you search for any words under four characters long. I know google is an option, but I'd like to see it integrated into the site's search function.

Other than that- the site is perfect. Keep up the good work!

Beaten to death, but I guess in a way still relevant with the last two examples this year.

We still police the problems and fix what needs to be done.

I haven't figured out yet how can I be notified by email whenever someone posts a new thread in a particular sub-forum. I only managed to get a daily email telling all the new posts in that sub-forum.
If there is a way to do this, please tell me and forgive my ignorance.

Feedback system linked to every person's userpage. Call it the BST reputation page or whatever, and make a submission form where someone can report a sale and check boxes to confirm the item was received, how many days it took, and was it as described.

Welcome back, hope you had a good vacation and are recovered from your honing incident. That filly I got from you is sweet Thanks.

To Edit e-mail from daily list go to, user cp>edit options>in messaging and notification box look at box for default thread subscription mode and change the entry in the drop down box to "instant e-mail notification"> go to bottom click save changes.

Caution if you post a lot you may get a lot of e-mails.

YES!!! I often search B&B from Google because of this constraint. I would be really sweet if this was built in.

Might I suggest new category(/ies) for vendors in the review section. Often we get people describing great customer service in the forums. It'd be even better to have a thread for each vendor in the reviews module, and this would also be handy in finding new places to buy stuff, since we don't always know instinctively to buy shaving stuff. (If bricks & mortar stores would be permitted, then perhaps that would be a separate category just for B&M - the focus being an easy way to keep all the online vendors together with reviews)

I am a noob here -

I am wondering if there is a way to subscribe to one of the forums without subscribing to all of them so that I can receive emails when someone posts a new thread.

I got another, when either logged in and I click "new post" or not logged in viewing "todays post" it is now only returning up to 10 pages it used to return 16 pages and even then that did not always cover all the post in the past 24 hrs. I would like it to default to last 24 hrs if not logged in and if logged in go back to last login or say 48hrs. Yeah I tend to read a lot at work

and don't log in there.

I haven't done any forum managing since long before the iPhone/Blackberry era, but perhaps there are easy/cheap ways to make it mobile friendly.

I don't understand asking for a mobile site. I'm always using my iPhone to access this site probly (85% iPhone 15% PC) and it looks fine and works fine for me.

I do have a couple requests.

Would it be possible to have the option to mark and individual forum as read instead of the global option?
How about some sort of shortcut menu option to the user groups? As it is right now, one to go to the User CP, choose the Social Groups link, and then finally click on the group. Perhaps plug the option up there in the navigation bar for site between the chat and faq.

Someone would need to make an app for that. Or create a mobile version of the website, either of which would take a lot of work (for no pay).

And I'm still against any sort of feedback system for the reasons that I have stated in other threads discussing that. We really don't need it!

An edit-able checkbox/stamp/ani-gif in thread, or column with a checkbox in the main BST forum. It would signify that all items in the thread have been sold. This box/column would be edit-able after the 7-day first post edit limit.

I started another thread about the BST. Unfortunately, I pitched deleting the threads instead and it all went to hell. (lol, I was new) I came up with this checkbox idea instead.
