Beautiful restoration work by our own Rudy Vey...

..sorry, no pictures (see Rudy's earlier post "another butterscotch restoration" for photos), but I just wanted to let everybody know that the job Rudy did on my vintage butterscotch brush was EVEN BETTER in person than it looked in the pictures.

Oh, my. Just gorgeous.

If you have a vintage brush that you would love to have restored but you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, I can highly recommend Rudy Vey's services. The work he did on that brush is just above and beyond any reasonable expectation I had when I sent it to him.

A very big +1 to the above sentiments. Rudy recently did a restore on a 30+ year old Kent with great sentimental value for me, and went WAY above and beyond, both in craftsmanship and gentlemanliness (if that's a word... if not, it ought to be!) If I ever get another restoration or rehair done, I couldn't imagine using anyone else.
