I'm glad the prelims and fights up to the main event and co-main event were entertaining.
I tried to watch the women's co-main, but couldn't get through the whole fight. How does a fighter who is 5-5, now 5-6 have a ranking?
What was up with Koschek? He looked very odd, checking the clock, looking at the ground, rubbing his eye constantly. I think he's done. Ellenberger put a nasty choke on him.
There were a few nasty chokes last night actually. A pretty week card and stretched a bit thin with the big names for a PPV. The way Cat looked when they were across the ring, I wouldn't have we're myself. She was one seriously angry looking woman, pacing back and forth.
I still like Rhonda's walk out song....Joan Jett & The Blackhearts! Good for her in taking some time off as she has nothing left to prove. How many fights does she have now, all title defenses and under 25 min in the UFC ring. Go out on top and retire as the best there ever was in Women's MMA and likely the best there ever will be.
She had a bad reputation after TUF but stayed classy after the win last night. Cat on the other hand, not so classy dropping 4 F-Bombs in a 30 sec interview. Some of these fighters need to take note from some of the NHL players and their interviews. I don't recall ever hearing language like that from an NHL'er.
