    Default Sliced a mole today.

Whilst shaving this morning I caught a small mole on my neck(never even noticed it before). On the plus side my technique must be improving as I finished my shave in record time when I seen the amount of blood coming out and had a good shave without any other injury. Has anyone ever done this before and is it best if I give it a few days to heal before I shave again?

Sorry to hear that, I don't have any moles on my face or neck, but I bet that would be painful. Glad to hear your technique is improving. You shouldn't have to skip any days of shaving, just shave around the mole until it heals.

I did this the first day I got my razor(Merkur Futur). I have a small mole right above my lip to the left side of my mouth. I then found out how sharp blades were that day and treated my razor with a bit more respect hah. There I was treating my razor like any other, shaving that area and then a second later... Huh.. I had a mole there. Took me like 15 minutes to get it to stop bleeding. Shaved around it for the next couple days and made myself more aware of using the razor's weight to do the shaving.

    Happens all the time.

The important thing is to concentrate on mole reduction, not one-pass removal.

Each time you cut one, remember that it's a little money you saved from the dermatologist that you can spend on shaving gear!
Shave every day and you'll always look keen.

Don't worry, I have a skin tag on my neck that I ALWAYS cut open everytime I shave. I'm wondering why it hasn't come off with how often I shave...

I have a light and slightly raised mole on my jaw line and occasionally I nick it. It usually heals up just as quick as a normal nick and has never caused me any more problems because it was a mole.

I have a mole that I nick. I'm gentle with it 'til it heals, then I nick it again, and so on.

I guess I'll just live with it.

If a mole is really in the way then it is best to have a doctor remove it. Once the root of it is gone it won't grow back.

Have a small one above my lip just to the right of my nose. I cut it on a semi regular basis and give it a day or two to heal before even thinking of shaving in that spot again. Funny thing is that I only seem to cut it when my blade is getting close to needing replacement.

haha, it's funny how these mole threads surface every once in awhile. I've got a mole on the left side of my upper lip and i've cut the little bastard plenty. it's amazing how much blood can come out of one tiny little mole

I've cut mine a few times. My suggestion is, if there is a scab then carefully go around it. If on the other hand it's an even shave surface by your next shave just take it easy, I usually only go for a WTG pass over the area so I don't aggravate or reopen it. But either way you'll survive.
