Thayers regular (contains alcohol) WH

Does anybody use this or the Peach or any other WH that contains alcohol. I am still getting a little razor burn at the bottom of my neck and I'm wondering if the alcohol would do me good. There doesn't seem to be much alcohol in there according to the Thayer's website so it shouldn't be too drying. Thoughts?

I've been using the cheapo drugstore stuff that smells like crap with great success. If your skin doesn't tend to be on the dry side, I'm sure you'd have good results with it as well. If you go for the Thayers, I'm sure the experience would be even better, since more often than not, you get what you pay for.

Hola Jeff,

I've used the regular (white label) Thayer's. I find it a high quality product that does not sting nor is it drying. It's always left my face very supple.

However, not being a big fan of the standard scent I don't find myself reaching for it too often.

I use the Thayers Lemon Witch Hazel as my daily aftershave because I enjoy the refreshing natural lemon scent, moisturizing aloe vera, and complete lack of residue. The lemon witch hazel contains 14% alcohol which is not drying or irritating at all. While the label describes it as a skin cleanser, I like it much better than the rose witch hazel which does not contain alcohol but does contain methylparaben and propylene glycol. The rose scent while nice didn't smell quite right on me. Except for the alcohol, all other ingredients in the lemon witch hazel are natural. The lemon scent does not last long. I am mildly surprised that the Thayers Lemon Witch Hazel is not used by more B&B members.

I now use the Thayer's Regular with Aloe (10% alcohol).

I switched to this from TN. Dickinson's and I find the Thayer to be dramatically bettter. Very soothing, leaves the skin smooth. Now, what to do with the TND I stocked up on?
