    Default Brut Variations

I was just in an Indian owned store right now and spotted roughly 4 different Brut aftershaves all in the same galss bottle but different colours and scents (I presume). There was an orange and white one among others I dont remember. This is starnge because there is no mention on their website. Are these imports or fakes of some kind?

Did they look like these? BRUT

European versions, not commonly available in US, I guess...

None of the Indian stores around here carry any shaving products. Curse of a small area I guess.

Big Lots sometimes has Brut stuff. I picked up a tube of Brut "Revolution" aftershave balm. I have yet to find any mention of this product anywhere on the entire internet. It's almost like it doesn't really exist and I bought a fake or something..

I would never think to look in an Indan store for shaving products. I'm sure there are a few around Cleveland.

I've never seen the balm, but the cologne makes me gag.

The balm's scent is almost identical to AV Ice Balm.

Yes, they were the ones 40Boy directed to. I should say I'm in UK so I dont know how successful youd be in finding them in the states.

I picked some up last month. I actually really like it. Looks like the second bottle posted just above me.

You wont be sorry. I have a googolplex of different aftershaves & find Brut splash on to be one of my mainstays in the rotation. Besides, it's so readily avail & cheap that if it doesn't work for you, it's no big deal. Good luck

Walmart was packed with gift boxes of Brut Revolution stuff a few Christmases ago. It had a few things in it, but maybe not balm. It said the whole "Revolution" line was made to smell different on each person who wears it...

heh..we have the Musk, Instinct and the Original aftershaves all over the place here in Malaysia. Never seen the Passion and the Oceans versions before. Bought the Musk out of desperation when I was stuck at Mom's place a few weeks ago. It helps heaps with the soothing (not as much as Nivea Balm), not too stingy as it goes on and the initial scent is ..well...musky. But you can still smell the original Brut scent underneath that musk. About an hour later it dried down to a chemical-kinda smell (not sure if the bottle was Ok, YMMV).

I'll give it another shot in October when I revert back to my Tabac Stick. Somehow I don't seem to think it'll go well with my Omega Menthol soap.

I just got my Brut Alaska after shave from off the 'bay, purchased blind but based on Cookie Junkie's recommendation.

I've only used it once, but the scent made a big impression on both me and my wife. I like it well enough to post about it and resurrect this thread.

I bough the same gift package last week, nice fresh scent , the after shave is really good and the cologne too.
The deodorant is a bit too strong for me, I don't like it very much, it seems to cover the cologne, it will end in my gym bag.

I wish I were better at describing scents. My wife's comment was, "It smells like a '90's cologne, but in a good way."
