    Default Just checking in.

    Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted anything and let you all know how things are going. Well, everything seems to be going well. I have goten quite used to the whole "wet shaving" thing and have found that I enjoy it when I have the time to realy get into it. I've found my "get-out-of-bed-and-look-good-for-work" shave, my BBS shave, and the "weekender" shave. Various passes WTG, XTG and ATG to see how long I can go and still look good.

I went out and have been trying various products to see what I like best. I bought a sampler of blades (havn't found a ton of difference, but I seem to keep coming back to feathers) and have about 4-5 soaps/creams. I prefer the soaps and have 2 that I like. I prep my face and use Parraso pre-shave cream before I lather on my face (getting pretty good at it too). After I shave I have tried a few post-shave creams but havn't found "the one". I have sensitive and either dry or oily skin depending on what I use.

I can do a shave and only cut myself once or twice a week now (although, I caught the side of a nostril once, don't ask how I did it... bled like I was shot in the face too... took about an hour to stop), but nothing the styptic pencil won't fix.

Wife still won't let me near her legs, tho... *shrug*

Thanks for checking back in, EJS. I've had one of those nose cuts myself -- no fun! Stick around and join in the discussions!

Cool, ain't it? Even with the blood, it's worth the effort.
