Cannot see home page

Whenever I log in, no matter which computer I am on or which browser I'm using, I cannot see the front page. I get an 'you don't have permissions to view this page' error.

I cannot see any of the front page news unless I log out.

Anybody else getting this? Or am I alone in the dark?

Any variation on the main page gives me the following error:
suprchunk, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
