In two days it will be three years since I joined Badger & Blade. I am afraid I may not be around to post on that day as I just started working as an over the road truck driver (cat's out of the bag), so I will post my thoughts now.
One of my favorite posts on my thoughts of B&B can be found here, so I won't rehash it again.
I can hardly believe it has been three years since making my first post. I have gone through different phases of activity and shared a lot of my life with B&B members. Currently I am in a posting slump as my personal life has been a bit of a mess lately, work, school and finances that is. Plus, being on the road limits my access to the internet.
I also participate in another forum on a professional topic and it is a far cry from B&B. The camaraderie and gentlemanly nature of B&B makes for a very pleasant visit, even on the days that I just read and don't post.
While shaving is still the primary purpose of B&B, I have enjoyed many other topics, including: coffee, Linux, watches, cars, cooking & other fun topics. Oh, and let's not forget the cheesiness going on behind the Cheddar Curtain as we carry on about fictitious Czars and Canadian border crossings.
So after three years, what keeps me coming back? Well, for starters, every day when I finish a great shave, I think about B&B and of course that leads to all the fun stuff that goes on here.
OK, that's enough for now. Thanks for listening.
