Just received a Spiro Automatic Stropper in the mail this week. Can anyone provide some information about this? My google-fu isn't turning much up about this.
On one side it says:
"Fabrique en Ancleterre"
"London & John Watts Sheffield"
"Established 1765"
On the other:
"The SPIRO Automatic Stropper"
"Pat. No.165982/20"
"For Gillette Type Blades"
"Made in Sheffield England"
It seems to be operational, but it's a bit gunked up right now. When I get it cleaned up I'll post some pictures of it.
