Default FS: #15 Open Comb Rhodium Brit

Here is an excellent quality 1938 British Aristocrat. The razor itself is a beauty -- no flaws that I can see, and the silo doors and handle shine like it was never used! I have not shaved with it because I have another, and due to its weight and remarkably fine-tuned construction, it truly is one of the best razors for shaving (or displaying) available.

Unfortunately the case is not quite up to the level of the razor -- the lining is a little funky, one side is slightly bent, yet it closes fine, and the case is missing the display/used blade holder.

Since the case is less than perfect I am offering this beauty for $167 CONUS. Paypal is the preferred payment method.

Thanks. Yes, it is a beauty and the open comb provides a super-smooth shave with this super-smooth rhodium finish.

An offer has been made, and so I am glad to share the bounty (or is it booty?).

I am bit behind in acknowledging receipt of the incredible #15 Jake sold. The photos do not do the razor justice, but do provide a window into its excellent condition. Of course, it also provides one heck of a shave.

I also wanted to share some photos of a razor that never made it onto the BST, but was in the package I received. (I did a bit of poaching from Jake's stash.) This one is such a stunner that, after getting home late from work, I brought it to bed to show my wife. Now I am slightly concerned I may have lost it to her.... The darn thing has more sparkle than her wedding ring, and she likes "sparklies."

Sincerest thanks to Jake, and thank you B&B.

Jim, I think the British aristo was acquired in an under the table deal(never posted on the BST), if I read Poonjaji's post correctly.

That's the kind of stand up behaviour that makes this place awesome.
