    Default I did it!!! I did it!!!

    After three or so months of wet shaving, I have achieved BBS!!

    I thought this day would never come!

    There is wisdom in the advice that it will come when you are not trying to get there, and that's pretty much what happened. I wasn't going for BBS, just SAS, and hopefully DFS, but much to my surprise after the third pass: nothing but smooth!!

    Here was today's kit:

    Hardware:
    Vulfix 660 Super Badger
    '84 Gillette Super Adjustable (on 7 for XTG pass 1 and 2, 9 for ATG pass 3)
    Gillette 7:00 yellow (with one shave on it)

    Software:
    Proraso Pre/Post Cream
    Proraso Cream
    Witch Hazel
    Pinaud Bay Rum a/s

    When starting out, that is how it finally clicks for a BBS.
    You give up trying for it, and go for a DFS instead.

    You are more relaxed and less concerned with the end result, giving your hands the chance to do things from muscle memory.

    Result: great shave without trying.
