Default FS or Trade: Parker Vacumatic

This is the last of my "non shaving" related posts. I am offering this very handsome brown Parker Vacumatic. The pen is in great shape and writes a nice, smooth line.

The gold trim has a nice shine and the barrel/cap have no nicks or cuts. There is a small dent in the nib, but it does not impact writing and is hardly noticable unless you are looking for it.

I would like $70 shipped prioirty. Or I am open to trades for a new (to me) brush.

These are beautiful pens with a wonderful, unique look. Very fair price for this one!

Nice looking pen, what is the size of the nib?

I would say it is a fine nib, and it is semi flexible

If you had the matching pencil, I'd be interested in it. Good luck with the sale, though.

By the way, if you don't sell it here, try www.pentrace.com and put it up on the green board there.

B&Bump for Sluggo. Quick questions for you... My Parker "51" Vac is my favorite fountain pen. Holds a ton of ink and writes so smoothly with and without pressure (ie. through carbon paper for checks). My Vac looks like the top pen in the first pick with the covered nib. I was not aware or familiar with Parker Vacumatics that weren't a "51" so this is an interesting pen to me.

The vacumatic filling system first appeared in pens like this and then moved to pens like the 51. Like the 51 this pen holds a lot of ink and writes a very smooth line. It is also a very classy pen with the copper color and the gold trim.

Yep, it has been serviced in the recent past too (this is important so you don't get a barrel full of ink all over youself).
