  1. Default Why didn't I do this sooner?

Hello everyone, I'd like to say, "Why haven't I tried to shave with a DE sooner?" All the trouble spots I used to have with an electric and multi blade cartridge razor are virtually gone. I used to hold out for a full week just so I didn't have to shave. By my 2nd DE shave I achieved total smoooooothness. I treat my razor with total respect, and have the utmost patience with it. Shaving with a DE envokes fond memories of me watching my father shave. I could almost smell the scent of Old Spice in the room just thinking about it now.

I'd like to thank Mantic for his very informative videos. Watching his videos and reading this forum proves invaluable advice to an age old ritual. So to everyone here, THANKS

God Bless all of our Troops

Ahh, but can you make the little animals out of spare bits of wire like the old Bell techs could?

I'll trade you some old pole steps for some wire animals! and throw in a KS meter to boot.

Dude, you took that quote from me right?

I had the exact same problems and treated shaving with the same disdain.

Glad your aboard and don't forget that there is plenty of variety in shaving and the lads here can point you in shaving directions you never dreamed of.

    Welcome aboard friend!

Will you settle for some "classic" (or maybe "vintage" ) ROLM 9000 manuals? I worked on a ROLM "VL" (as the 9000's were called back in the day)--mfr s/n *2*!!--for many years. Ahhhh, good times, good times.

yeah, i wish my dad showed me how to shave with a DE... it would have saved years of getting bad shaves. i think most people don't shave with DEs because they dont' even know they exist.
