I don't think Australia is closer than the U.S but I've since received lapping film and managed to get the razor sharp enough to shave patches of hair off my legs and hands smoothly . Now I just have to hone my technique , overcome the fear factor and work at a shallow angle.
I hope to get a 2-pass DFS by the end of next week.

I just finished my Saturday morning shave - a little stropping, lather with L'occitane soap and Nivea shaving cream, hot towel prep and finally, about 85% DFS. It looks good but my mustache feels a little rough. No bleeder or nicks except a flat one on my neck. Well, if it was a deep one, I wouldn't be here to write this message as it would've cut the main artery
