I followed the tracking number and know that it got to Eric. I'm patiently waiting for its completion. I look forward to seeing it.

I was a patient man in my teens and 20s. I am becoming less so as I get older, so I snagged a "Mergress" and a Progress from the B/S/T.

I tried the Mergress for the first time a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed the experience. Very smooth, very easy to work with in all respects. My only initial issue is the weight - I have always preferred a lighter razor.

I have only shaved with it once but it shows promise for becoming a "keeper". Nice work Eric!

I'm the other end of the spectrum, I rotate through 4 or 5 razors and all of them are on the heavy side. One of my favorites is the Merkur 43C weighing in at over 5 oz. This will be a plus for me.

I got the shipping notification from Eric today, pretty good turn around time for a custom product when you consider I ordered the Progress from BullGoose 11 days ago. It was then shipped half way across the country before Eric could modify it. I should be seeing the Mergress in the very near future. This should be fun.

I received my Mergress. It is a beautiful piece and Eric's work is very nice. It's a great shaver and one I would recommend. Sorry about the finger print. I'm no photographer and the pictures don't do this justice.

After about six months of following Lee's website and after several unanswered emails I stopped going that route. I purchased a Progress from BullGoose and had them ship directly to Eric. He did the rest. It was about a 2 week turn around.

More Progresses will finally be arriving this week. I'll have the first batch to Lee early next week so keep looking.

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Eric,

Do you still do conversions for individuals, or are you only offering them through Lee's Razors? Thanks!

Send him a PM. He'll do individuals if he knows it's coming.
If the surf is up south side, you know where you can find me when I'm done shaving.

    Thanks for the reply.

FWIW, I can send him an e-mail, but his capability to receive PMs has apparently been disabled.

This is what worked for me. I also found out Eric was too busy for PM's. I found the same thing out about Lee. Truth is you can select your purchase from Phil (BullGoose) and he'll ship it directly to Eric. Saves one shipping charge this way. Then email Eric to let him know it's coming and request his order form, fill it out, include a check to him, his upgrade is $40 assuming you're not looking for anything too special. By the time your check gets to Eric he will already have your razor in hand. The whole process took only 11 days for me from the day I ordered the razor to shaving the evening I received it. I believe it actually comes out a few bucks cheaper this way than going directly through the sole vendor. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
