    Default Opus 1870

I just wanted to comment on the new bottle of Opus 1870 that I just received.
I do like the fragrence, but I find that it is very light in staying power. I'd dare say that after 6 pumps from the bottle and an hour later, you'd be hard pressed to detect that you're wearing any kind of cologne at all. Would I order it again, I don't really think so, its really a disappointment in my book.

Rick, Opus lasts on my person a good 8 hours. I don't know why yours is gone so soon. I only use 3 sprays.

1870 seems to last for most of the day on me. As always, YMMV.

Could this be due to different body chemistry?

I know that some scents last longer on me than others and people tell me the reverse is true.

I find 1870 to be one of the longer lasting colognes. Goes to show how these things react differently.

This is a scent I don't care for, but from a longevity perspective I found it lingered many hours on my skin.

My guess would be that the more acidic one's skin & sweat are, the less a cologne will last.

Try spraying it on your clothes if you discover that it fades from your skin too quickly.

Also, be sure to get an un-biased sampling (someone else's nose) if you feel that the scent cannot be picked up anymore.

Many times, you become attuned to the fragrance and have a hard time noticing it after a while.

Opposite of my experience also. It lasts a good, long time on me. It is one of the longest lasting scents for me.

Opus 1870 is my favorite cologne. It wears all day and then some.
