I've been using trumpers cream and skin food for years. I have finally decided to make the jump to a DE razor. I just ordered a Merkur and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about where to purchase blade sample packs, or if they even exist. I'm decently sure they do since I've read about them in enough product reviews. Thanks.

I decided to go to West Cost, but instead of the sampler, I created my own 'sample' pack: Astra Superior Platinum, Crystal, Gillette 7 O'clock SharpEdge,
Red Pack Israeli, and Sharp Double Edge.
I really wanted to avoid the feather's that came in the sample pack for the time being.

The Feathers are to be respected, like any other blade, but not feared.
yeah. theyre only a razor blade, just like the others you use.

I plan on trying feathers with the next group of blades that I buy, but I would rather not start out with them giving the way most people seem to describe them
I have a pack of Feather's I have yet to open. So far I have tried the Merkur, ASR Personna, Derby Extra, and Dorco blades. I still have the Personna Red and Feather to try. So far my favorite are the Derby's.

My Merkur came, I just enjoyed my first DE shave- definitely an improved experience over the fusion.
