Weekend Score

Got these two this weekend. Browsing through the Amazing Mr. Razor site I believe these to be a 1941 Ranger Tech, and a 1921 New Standard.
Am I correct in assuming that the New Standard is the same razor, just different cases for the Bostonian and the Richwood?

Hi Phil,

Nice score. That New Standard cleaned up really well. The silver plating on these razors is really good. And yes these razors are the same except for the cases.

Very nice score, Phil. It's amazing how the before and after pics look, and so satisfying to know that you've rescued a great piece of shaving gear.

Very nice pickup. As a note, the razor you identified as a New Standard is a New Improved. New Standard is the name of a New Improved set. New Improved is the razor type.

Ok, I'm clear that this "New Improved" variant was a razor in the following sets;
Bostonian
Richwood
New Standard

It truly is great to have such a great group of people as a resource for the questions that come up.
