I tried a few drops of baby oil rubbed into my wet beard as pre-shave prep...during the shave I did notice a significant decrease in "slip." Not that the razor skipped, but I felt that I had to pull the razor with a bit more force across my face. This could be due to my having used too much oil.

But the results? Actually, to tell you the truth, my face feels and looks great...feels extra soft as well. So I'd say the jury is still out (we'll see if I break out in ingrowns soon or something)...
