Killed a puck of SCS Oakmoss Lavendula SS. Great scent and good performance. I have a different scent waiting in the wings, so this one will not be immediately replaced.

Finished a bottle of SCS Lime AS Splash. Great stuff; I've enjoyed every SCS splash I've tried.
Good razor. My personal favorite has the giant black plastic fat handle.
I've never heard of a lathering gel. You may be able to spread the gel around using the brush, but it's extremely unlikely you'll be able to whip up any lather from it. I'd also be sure to rinse my...
Like everyone else I'm shocked to hear it was still being supported up until now. I guess maybe it was bigger in Japan or other markets.
With the way things are going, the only physical medium...
Maybe it's overkill, but here's the Artisan Soaper Compendium
Nice work everyone.
Merz is definitely a nice spot and not out of the way for you as you'll already be on the North Side. The Lincoln Square area it's in is pretty nice to walk around as well.
pump gas without having to pre-pay.
Nice haul. 2 different handled GEM 1912's and an ER 1912. They'll all shave exactly the same, and should most likely still be in working condition. Just make sure when buying SE blades you steer...
Nice work on the pork curing Michael!
Lunch today was pretty good. NY Strip with some focaccia slices and some cooked swiss chard on the side (not pictured). Sometimes it's good to have a day off....
Tonight was cast-iron pan-roasted pork chops with a roasted shallot and some sliced and roasted Yukon Golds.

Nice work! Lookin good.
Good thing I've got a couple AOS pucks stashed away for a rainy day. Still, it's a shame.
You can get a sample of the Muehle version here. Pretty sure it's the same thing.
I like Pepsi better, but I'm not much of a cola guy anyway. I usually prefer lemonade or an Arnold Palmer.
I'm not sure if there's an annual event or not exactly. I've heard of the sale, but I think just from members that were on the AOS email list and got an email blast. I think it's open to everyone...
1 week in and only 1 member out. Nice work so far guys. Keep it up! :thumbup1:
Nice haul. May the tallow be with you.
Haven't ordered anything yet...but there's no rush. I've got a whole year to buy whatever I want and can afford now.
We did it! Happy New Year to my fellow conquerors!

I also think I'll be in for 2014. I don't really plan to buy many lather products in '13; I didn't make much of a dent in the den this year. But I think I'll enjoy the freedom to pick up a new brush...
Only 4 more days...
Less than you would think. During the year I only used up 4 products: 1 soap, 2 creams, and an aftershave. And most of those already had some significant use on them before the sabbatical began.
Nice find. I haven't been able to track down the vintage menthol yet.
Still in. These days it's easy.
This is a great fragrance and a winter staple for me.
Finished a bottle of Diesel Only the Brave AS splash today.
This AS features average skincare, along with a modern/aquatic/ozonic synthetic scent, which although pleasant sometimes, can be...
Fingers worked fine for me. Just move a chunk at a time into the bottom and smush it in until you reach your preferred level of fullness. Or, if you have the red tub, just put it all in. It smushes...
Still in. As for a massive buying spree, I don't think my haul will be all that massive...we'll see how much it takes to get to free shipping though.
I have the same problem patch on the lower right side of my neck. No two neighboring hairs grow in the same direction. Excellent prep is necessary for me to shave this area well, and I can never...
I love Cella. Both the performance and scent are top notch for me. I have the brick, but keep a chunk in an old TOBS tub for regular use.
Still in. Only a couple weeks left...
All the soaps are made this way, with SLES as a foaming agent. Actually, I don't think they are, technically speaking, soaps at all. There is no saponifying agent. That said, I've finished a couple...
Their splashes are phenomenal.
I was thinking the same thing. I came in with no exceptions, but did take advantage of the Sue Auction to pick up some soap. We actually had somebody fail this year because they bought a can of goo...
Good luck to everyone in 2013! From the 2012 session, I can tell you that if you make the first 3 months, you have about a 75% chance of completing. And if you make it 6 months, your chances of...
