Not me. I love Proraso. Lots of other things bother my skin, but not Proraso.

Yep, that's it.
Thanks for all your suggestions guys. I decided to go with a Saddleback ID wallet. It looks like just the right compromise for me. I want the wallet to be durable, and the Saddleback should meet...
I've thought about that. I've been looking at Slimmy wallets.
I need a new wallet. I was think about a Saddleback, but I understand they are really heavy, and I would really like something light. The one I have now is an Osgood Marley. It's nice, but oddly,...
The cream didn't work for me at all. I found it to preform poorly, it really made my skin burn, and even though it was "unscented" it had a strong earthy odor. Not pleasant.
I can't, but there are people who can. It just depends. Some people's faces can handle it and some can't. Do whatever works for you.
Face lathering cream is easy. I just spread the brush open a bit and squeeze my snurdle of cream into the center of the brush. Then, work the brush on your face as normal adding water as needed. ...
I don't worry about measuring my shaves by DFS or BBS anymore. When I've had a good shave, it's close and comfortable. When I've had a bad shave, I have irritation or the shave just didn't get that...
K is fantastic stuff!
The Weber is a nice razor, but I found it too aggressive for my tastes. I love my Progress, so my vote is the Progress. As already said, you can dial it in to suit your preferences.
I still think Barbasol is about the best canned goo that America produces. It's not as good as a brush and a good soap, but it's pretty good considering it costs less than $2.00. The gels never...
I was perusing old shaving commercials, and I came across this one. The red-headed guy looks like a character from a Norman Rockwell painting.

That's a nice brush.
That's really nice looking.
I came across DE shaving sort of accidentally. I was looking for a replacement for my Braun electric and I was going to go back to using my old razor and shaving foam when I stumbled across an...
I'm pretty much sticking with Proraso with an occasional foray into my stash of vintage Williams. I've also got some MdC that I will eventually use up, but Proraso sees daily use.
You could also consider a Tech. They are nice mild shavers.
Bacon for breakfast= yummy. Bacon for my shave= yucky!
CONUS ONLY PLEASE!
I have for sale a couple of soaps. I will ship USPS with delivery confirmation.
First: A puck of DR Harris Marlborough in the mahogany bowl. I've only used it a few...
A tub of cream will usually last anywhere from 30 to 60 shaves depending on how much cream you actually use. If you've got hard water, you'll need to use more cream than you will if you have soft...
My dad died a few years back from ALS. I have no idea what I'm getting for father's day. Probably nothing shaving related. I need a new wallet; I'm hoping my wife will get me one.
I find that Klar Seifen is similar to Tabac in performance, but it's twice as expensive.
No, my wife knows it's a hobby for me, but I also don't have an over-abundance of things. I don't like to have too many different soaps, razors, or brushes. My collection is small but manageable.
That's a bummer. Another good soap gone.
Why do you think it's discontinued?
For badgers I'd say Rooney or Savile Row makes the best silver tip brushes for the money. Semogue makes the best boars for the money.
Thanks Celestino. I find the red can a bit drying, but the green was fairly neutral. Like I said, it's not as good as soap and a brush, but it does work pretty well.

As a little experiment, I went out and bought a can of Barbasol to see if it would work well for my travel kit. ...
It just occurred to me that I'll have to use Barbasol. I don't have an American brush to lather up my Williams with.
This is pretty cool. This is an old training film by Lockheed for the P38 Lightning. If you're a military aviation buff, this should be interesting.

Taylor of Old Bond Street, Palmolive, Proraso, and Speick are all paraben free.
When you pay your credit card bill online and the payment confirmation code begins with "BBB" reminding you of Badger and Blade.
Well, for me that's going to have to be a can of Barbasol, Sensor Excel (probably made over seas but at least it's an American company) and some Aqua Velva. Wait, I could also use some Vintage...
The Sensor handles are pretty easy to find if you know where to look. Here, CVS and Bed Bath and Beyond carry the Sensor handles. I picked up a second one just as a spare. They shouldn't be hard...
They are re-branded Schicks. I find the Schicks to be terrible for me so...
Proraso might be a good choice. I find it works well even in hard water. Otherwise, you might try a canned foam. It won't be affected by the water hardness.
It doesn't matter. You can store it however you like.
Parabens are preservatives. Some varieties of them are naturally occurring in foods like blueberries. There is no hard evidence at all that parabens are harmful, especially in the small...
Oh wow! Proraso is my absolute favorite. Thankfully, it's still very affordable here.
