I second this, but for the price I love my Semogue 839 as well. I currently have a 2011 LE (Bristle 1) that I haven't used and I'm thinking about listing it on the board soon.

My first and only razor is a Merkur 37c (just started wet shaving a little over a month ago). I love this razor... All it does is provide an uber close shave and mows through my 4 or 5 day growth...

I've never tried a sandlewood, what makes it special? Is sandalwood a good scent or something? Sorry i'm clueless

Well i ordered them at the same time so... Merkur 37c and feather blades! (first purchase of any significant shaving product ever)

What about just using it to apply lather after the lather is made with another brush...

I'm a noob and have 3 DE shaves under my belt(merkur 37c). I've only used a feather blade and haven't had any issues with irritation and I've had one weeper (around my adams apple), so I like them so...

When you first come to badgerandblade.com it's very cluttered. I'd like to suggest that he badger and blade logo be in the middle and then under it explains the premise of the website or a mission...

I'm with you, i doubt parabens are any worse for me than the 4 pieces of pizza i just stuffed down my gullit.

Any updates, I'm waiting for my Acqua di Parma to arrive. I bought it for $18 so i couldn't pass it up. It was used a couple times, but still a great deal.

I'm confused by all the complaints about FEATHER BLADES... You say Feather blades cut your face up. Doesn't this just prove they're not overrated??? I mean is your complaint that the blades are too...

My 2011 LE Boar should be at my door this week or next... can't wait considering it's my first brush!

Practice without a blade to get use to the weight of the DE to be sure you're not applying pressure... I'd suggest doing this on the side of the neck that doesn't have road rash...
