just use it - let it dry properly.
count me in please sir!
I never used to skin stretch with my DE untilled I started using a straight, now I stretch all the time - its the way its ment to be done!
yep I have a progress and I wouldn't swap it for a futur.
good luck.
Its a great razor, ive used it twice, but i use my New Long Comb more, would prefer to give it to someone to use more.
I have a Fatip Grande, and a New tub of Triumph and Disaster old fashioned shave cream.

Yep straight shavers here, we're the real men round here :D
Don't go ATG on neck, and use a shallow blade angle.
what is this about?
looks like a pressure issue :)
As if some guy would break in and steal your crusty razors !
Box looks great, well done.
where does one purchase lapping film?
can't see anywhere in my country, is it cheap?
Don't get discouraged here, sounds like you stropped fine :D
I just finished a bottle of thayers, lasted me a year, I use WH on my neck and alum on my face, I just brought Dickinson's WH, its definitely not at tacky as Thayers which sometimes felt sticky.
careful of that point - your ears will love you for it :D
I've been shaving DE for 2 years the last 2 months I've been using a straight for me the straight is....
Harder to learn but more rewarding.
More enjoyable.
Closer shave.
Less irritation....
count me in kind sir!
I want the slim, thanks!
post a pic of your sight unseen when it shows!
gota love the weber bulldog, use light pressure, enjoy.
straight razors need "light" pressure also. :D
Since starting with straights I've been using more preshave, been using King of Shaves as soon as I get out, rub it in to beard, then put some proraso pre over the top, works really well.
Did it...
congratz!
I know what its like :)
nice!
that Torrey looks great :)
really guys?
I only have the cream its great, but as with all things Proraso, I'm sure they both will amazing.
Mild razors like the goodfella usually need an ultra sharp blade :)
The progress is an amazing razor, its hands down the best for my neck too.
age - 34
wet shaving - 18
Traditional - 3
advice - don't listen to a lot of stuff on here its all YMMV people here are to easy to pressure you/spout on about what works for them and they think...
I have a smaller strop too, I found it hard but have come around to standing slightly sideways to the strop and and doing the X stroke, have noticed the blade feels a lot sharper since I've gotten a...
#3 thanks for this PIF
Listen to your heart, don't fall in love with the first house you look at, most real estate agents are the devil IMO :)
good luck!
great work!
in had some pulling but once the angles on its great, having good success with short deliberate strokes.
Nice collection so far!
Hows ya shaves going?
sounds like you need and open comb or an R41, if you really have to, I'd skip the shavette and go straight to a traditional cut throat.
ill give it a bash!
I'm in - thanks!
Thank you so much!
A great PIF.
good luck mate, had my 3rd shave tonight and it was my best one yet!
welcome and congrats - I also have a Dovo, its a great razor - looks the business too.
I use both and notice my face doesn't feel as "raw" when using a straight compared to a DE.
Think its cause a straight isn't as sharp as a de blade.
count me in kind sir!
