Seriously, though- I am getting one of these one day. My grandfather's brother in law had one, and I was always intrigued by it.
I say to get a rain lamp to go along with it. Now that's high art.
I started drinking it at 12. I didn't know it at the time, but I have ADD. Stimulants, like caffeine, help me focus and slow my brain down.
I have had the Cash version in my head all day.
Hmmm, going to have to check it out
Not a state fair food, but you must try poutine. I fell in love with it when I spend 3 weeks in Montreal around Feb 2012. As to state fair food I am simple- I love corney dogs. The last time I went...
Not sure where to put this, so it goes here. For the last few years I have been on a quest- to find Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Macadamia ice cream. It is chocolate and vanilla ice cream swirled...
Aaron, that is quite a thing to forget. You've been holding out on us
Yep- if I was going with a PBC, I would build it myself. A clean, food grade 55 gallon drum goes for less than $50. You could build one yourself for $150 easily, and maybe even mount casters to it....
Can you post a recipe the next time you do?
I had beef tacos last night and I saw a long untouch bottle of Pace salsa (hot) sitting in the door with just enough for the tacos. I finished it off to make room.
You are lucky I am not a moderator.
The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert.
Yes, marriage is a trap that is very expensive to get out of
I have 3 full, plus a partial, left.
I opened the Fire Dragon Chillies Deadly Chilli Sauce when I made masala. I haven't gotten any sriracha sauce out yet- been kind of broke
I haven't gotten one yet, but from ny research and brucered's posts I don't see why not. I want one because I want a smoker, grill, and pizza oven. Kamados do all three well. I will be getting the...
I noticed too late
So am I.
I am surprised it took so long to appear  I am probably out this year- I am really needing a Kamado cooker.
Sabbaticals are for quitters (or, in my case, because I'm broke  )
Well, corn chips are their own food group in Texas.
$500-600 puts you in kamado territory. Unless your feeding an army it will smoke, grill, sear, and do pizza.
I will be following this post. I like a good dressing, but they put too much garbage in the commercial stuff
I was in Sam's last night, and the had a tag saying "Last one- $509". They are normally $599. I almost cried. I hope the sign doesn't mean they won't be selling more in the future. Home Depot has...
Mine is also multiple reasons, but the main one is to see what others are cooking. This serves as inspiration for me to branch out. Of course, there are side effects- I find my self dreaming of a...
Aaron's recipe is an excellent introduction to Texas Red.
I'd eat all of that pepper and onion myself (I don't do mushrooms)
I want a smoker, grill, and pizza oven, so I have basically talked myself into a kamado- namely the Vision Classic B at Sam's Club. Now I just need to start saving my pennies.
on edit: but, then,...
I would Google it, but I am scared.
I enjoy a peanut butter and mustard sandwich from time to time.
That looks like my back yard. I felt bad because I hadn't gotten my peppers planted. Luckily I haven't- they would be toast.
You have to ask? :001_smile
It looks tasty
I am surprised my comment about turpentine and grass fires drew no comment. My boss is native Texan, and has a ton of lines like this. That one (cleaned up for B&B) is my favorite.
And that is bad how?
I will eat my spleen if he makes Texas Red with beans. He is a native Texan- he'd sooner drink turpentine and pee on a grass fire.
It is the price we pay for living in the system we do. I have been called about 10 times and keep getting sent home- my sister is a cop. I really wish they would seat me once.
Yeah, it is purely subjective on my part. I know they make good stuff. Oh, and that old HD is mine. It has 150 k miles on it, and short of a crotch rocket very few will get to 70 MPH faster than I,...
