Sample pack of blades - toss after 1st shave?

    Thread Starter: mikeeliaspgh

If you popped in the new blade that you were excited to try and ended up being very disappointed with the performance, did you hang in there for shave 2 or 3, or did you just move onto the next type of blade, knowing that you could always return later to the blade that disappointed you?

I finally figured out blade angle.

    Thread Starter: thekingoflegoland

I just started using a safety and kept in mind blade angle. I always thought that I had it at a good angle but no matter what, I was getting really bad razor burn. I figured it was the type of razors I was using. Derby single edge blades. So I always blamed the razors for the razor burn. Until...

    Interesting Veg test

    Thread Starter: Emanon

Today was to be the day of battle for me and the VEG. However, being pressed for time and not being able to search many stores for a glass decanter I was stuck. I had already purchased my bottle of Lilac Vegetal but couldn't find a glass decanter. So I took the bottle home. On my first encounter...

    Bleh!

    Thread Starter: Chuck Sirloin

Ok, so I'm relatively new to traditional shaving (since October of last year), and have had the same brush for the past 7-8 months. The brush I speak of is a synthetic one made by Jack Black (the men's grooming product line, not by the lead singer of Tenacious D, lol). It's pillow-soft and and an...

IT"s Back. Take a Couple, Leave a FEW box of passaround fun

    Thread Starter: rickboone1

In the past we have sent out a box filled with goodies. Participants would add to the pile and take out something from the pile. It may be shaving gear, it may be pens, haberdashery, knives, coffee/ teas...who knows!? If you've read about it here there's a good chance it may be in the box. ...

    Brotherhood of the Open Comb

    Thread Starter: bluesbishop

A few of us started teasing Krona Kruiser on this thread about giving up his latest purchase to those of us that truly love Open Combs...so out of just having some fun here on B&B, we formed the Brotherhood of the Open comb. What is this crazy Brotherhood you ask? First and foremost, it is a...
