Hi All i've been enjoying great shaves from my Black Beauty for the last month. So much so, that I'm in danger of not using anything else:001_unsur So, I'd like some help from the good folk on here to help me decide my next weapon. The choice is between: Merkur 37CSlant; Merkur 510 Progress;...

Hey every body, I have another fatboy project to share. This one is a G2 Another ebay snag in hopes of an awesome razor under the scum. Unfortunately not this time. Once I cleaned this one up, there were flea bites and bad pitting pretty much every where, as well as the safety bar on one side...

After reading some inspirational stories about recent finds in the wild, I decided to venture beyond the local antique shops in search of another razor. I had a feeling this shop would be good, it had lots of what I call guy things military surplus, tools, smoking accessories etc. The only...

I was fine. I was miserable using the canned cream and stock razors, and I was fine. Ignorance was bliss. But no, I wanted something more, something better. So I decided to turn my shaving experience into something I enjoyed. The razors, the soaps, the blades, the smooth face .... It was everything...

About a year ago I purchased a Semogue 1305 and it quickly became the only brush that I use. I'm looking to try another Semogue primarily for variety sake, but I can't think of anything that I would change in terms of the feel/performance of the 1305, good backbone and soft tips. So for those who...

My stick of Arko must have came directly from the factory to my doorstep. It had all of the industrial cleaning smell that gives it's love/hate reputation. My daughters opinion "No Dad, just no." I opened it and let it air out for several months, and it did calm down to something that I could...

I'm looking for an over the top menthol shave cream. I am looking for the ULTIMATE in menthol shaving. I want ICY coolness that would make an Inuit from Greenland feel at home! Any suggestions?

Sample pack of blades - toss after 1st shave?
Thread Starter: mikeeliaspghIf you popped in the new blade that you were excited to try and ended up being very disappointed with the performance, did you hang in there for shave 2 or 3, or did you just move onto the next type of blade, knowing that you could always return later to the blade that disappointed you?
