What FP have easily exchanged nibs?

    Thread Starter: nortac

Are there any fountain pens with easily exchanged nibs of different sizes, other than calligraphy sets? Is this common? Practical? Please excuse the extreme noob question.

B&Bers, last week was yet another fabulous showing. The SOTD is by far the best thread on this forum. And it is all because of your contributions! I'm starting off this week with a Chandler pattern welded steel blade. It was a velvet squeegee and I am a happy man!

    1953 "silver" Gillette President.

    Thread Starter: Morman Bridge

Over the weekend, I won an auction for a Gillette President that the seller said was "silver". I thought all Gillette Presidents were Rhodium. Am I correct in assuming this razor was mislabeled as "silver"? I'm curious. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

First BBS shave, WOOT! (and how)

    Thread Starter: DirtDiver

So I got my first truly BBS shave this morning. (do I get a medal or something? )There were a few variables that were new to the equation, well just about all of them. I don't know if I should figure out what made the difference through process of elimination, or just keep doing the same...

The feline scratching post shaving technique?

    Thread Starter: Z blade

Well if you haven't heard of it, I hadn't either - until I witnessed it on the way out of the gym locker room this morning. A gentleman that I would guess to be in his late 50's was standing at the mirror with a fluorescent orange accented, multi-blade Gillette gizmo going to town with a vengeance....

    Mowing through 3.5 days growth

    Thread Starter: Chadly

Well because of life I was too busy to shave this weekend, and then woke up too late to shave this morning. So tonight I tried to shave three and a half days worth of thick growth. I got a pretty miserable shave. I didn't wind up with any nicks and just a tiny spot of burn but not at all a close...

    I miss my old Proraso.

    Thread Starter: martiniduck

Every summer, I enjoy the cool refreshing tingle of menthol & Eucalyptus in my Proraso shaving soap. I used up my last tub at the end of last summer and I ordered a new tub only to find they changed the formula. It feels more greasy than before. They probably changed it to add lubrication, but I...

Luxury A/S Balm vs Drugstore A/S Balm

    Thread Starter: Navy877

You know.... I mean.....it's just.....I don't know man. I have some luxury A/S Balms. Truefitt and Hill, L'Occitane, AOS, and they smell great and have nice texture and all that but I have to say Neutrogena and Nivea seem to knock the edge off razor burn and sooth the skin so much better from...
