we've all seen the threads like 'which/what xxxxxxxx did you use today?'. I like reading them. this one is a bit different. if, like me, you have more hard and software combinations at your disposal than you could use in a few lifetimes then you probably (also like me) are thinking ahead of what...

I rarely use any aftershave, and when i do i use a few scented ones that i have. But i was wondering which ones have the best hydration, without alcohol. Sometimes what i do is use the left over lather (like i have read on here) after i do the cold rinse and it seems to work rather nice.

Do you buy your shaving products online? I've read in several post were people claim loyalty to a particular online vendor, but I'm not sure why. It seems to me one of the hardest things to do is spend your hard earned money on a product you've never used before. Granted, not everyone has access...

Hello to all. I am considering switching to shaving with a DE razor, not because I don't get good shaves with my current razor, a Gillette Fusion, but because of the expense of the cartridges. I get an excellent shave with the Fusion razor, and it doesn't seem to matter what canned product I use...

I was looking into getting one of these kits http://www.caswellplating.com/electroplating-anodizing/nickel-plating-kits.html and trying my hand at plating at home. It looks like something that might be fun to get into, and would save time and money on replating old razors that I have cleaned up but...

I have recently discovered how much I like tequila unadulterated with lime juice, cointreau, ice, or anything else -- just neat. My favorite so far is 1800 Silver Select. I tried Patron and did not like it as much as the 1800. Lunazal Blanco and Corralejo Reposado are so so, the CR topping the...

I have always loved the razor head on the classic Stahly live blade razor. It's precision build, the floating grooved safety bar, the blade angle and blade exposure all seem perfect. All of my favorite blades perform better or as well with the Stahly as in any other razor I have used. I like...

Loose pin
Thread Starter: jeff_CI have a favorite razor that has a pretty loose pivot pin. Its certainly usable but would prefer it to be just a bit more snug. Is there anything I can do? I don't want to risk damaging anything. Especially since its totally useable. Thoughts?
