    Proraso Appreciation Society!

    Thread Starter: Alejandro1969

Most of us love Proraso and there's no getting away from the fact it is great and it does make you feel good! While the green and white have been around for a while now in tub form, the red has recently been produced in the tub! Now, the burning question! Will the Blue with Aloe and Vitamin E...

    Fighting a Dorko

    Thread Starter: totorlekiller

So I got this Dorko that was supposed to be shave-ready when I got it. And indeed, the bottom half shaved well. The half from the tip down did not. We can actually tell from the picture here that the bevel does not look right at the top. So I took it back to the 1K. It took a while to get...

    Musgo Real Fragrances

    Thread Starter: oldhickory

Hey Gents, I was wondering if anyone has experience of Musgo Real's fragrances. I have the Spiced Citrus Cream and have tried the Orange Amber and Lime Basil soaps. All work and smell terrific. I was intrigued about their fragrances. They are pretty well priced. Are the scents well made and long...

    Getting paid to drink beer!

    Thread Starter: treewhale

Wow! Out of the blue, I have been asked to teach a sensory evaluation seminar for professional brewing students! All those years of beer judging and teaching BJCP exam prep courses seems to have paid off!

Well gentlemen, it's time for another great week! I'm starting off the week with a Japanese western style straight, some vintage Yardley, and a vintage Fuller brush. Who could ask for more to start off a new week?

    Edge seems duller after paste

    Thread Starter: tezza

My TI 6/8 extra hollow was dragging so I gave it a few laps on .5 diamond on TM cotton, and a few on crox (other side of the cotton) and it sharpened right up. Figured I'd give my TI 11/16 1/4 grind a touch-up too but after it didn't seem better, maybe even not quite as good as it was prior so I...

    Unhappy with coffee mug!

    Thread Starter: Flask

Hello All I am unhappy with my mug, not just mine tho, but all cups, and mugs. I always seem to be burning myself on the cup, while I hold the mug by the handle. The handles never seem to be big enough to keep my fingers off the hot cup, or mug. Any body have a good size mug with a nice big...

Today the postman brought me a couple of awesome goodies. A Star Shaving burgundy Big Daddy strop and a (borrowed) Gold Dollar #66. I'm just shy of a year into wetshaving and its like the fun has started all over again! I thought I'd start a journal like the rest of the guys and reach out for any...

    Movado Circa

    Thread Starter: daverojo77

I just picked out this watch and gotta say I love it. It's not an automatic but it's classy as hell. It's my everyday watch I wear with a suit. Although I was never partial to movado I really like this one. 40mm with a sapphire crystal. Looks great o my wrist!
