A couple of vague hints: it is based on (and shares a title with) a novel by an English author, which was later compiled into a single edition, which is fairly famous. The novel (and the subsequent novels combined into that single edition) are based on a very famous legend. According to Wikipedia, it was the last animated film produced by this company while its original head was still alive.

Is it rope.

AlanL
05-11-2011, 07:12 AM
Is it rope.

Rope it is.

An interesting experimental film by Hitchcock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rope_%28film%29) that takes place all in one apartment, more or less in real time, and revolves around the conversations of a small party. Its lengthy, uninterrupted shots stretch as long as 10 minutes, so there are only 10 segments in the whole movie.
