Hey gang,
Gosh I hope I posted this in the right area... Anyways just received my B&B Aftershave lotion (from Sue AKA Mama Bear) Summer edition yesterday in the mail. First off I want to say her Customer Service is Top-notch and delivery was quick (Thanks again Mama Bear). Ok so onto my review:.
This morning I tried this wonderful aftershave lotion and I must admit this is by-far the best that i've tried to date. The consistency and texture reminds me of "Skim Milk" (sorry for my analogy's but i think that's the best way to describe it). Just one single pump is all you need and rub your hands together and you can either pat on your face or gently rub in. This lotion dissolve's almost immediately upon contact without leaving a shine/residue. Since I normally shave "against" the grain upon my first pass (I know that's a no-no in alot of peoples minds), i found this to be very soothing and non-irritating at all. I was concerned a little at first because I didn't think this would be hydrating enough for my skin during the colder months, however I found this to be the exact opposite. My skin wasn't left tight, nor did it create any allergice reaction (I have hyper-sensitive skin) my skin felt very comfortable and slightly moisturized enough to where I don't have to worry about oil-buld-up during the mid-afternoon. We all know what that feels like sometimes. Actually I tend to believe this would be very beneifical for those who tend to get slight acne, etc due to the Aloe Vera ingredient. It's been about 5 hours now since I've applied it and when i run my fingers across my forehead and I see NO shine/residue on my fingers (that's a great feeling). I believe this also tone's the skin leaving it comfortable, but once again without the shine or pore clogging ingredients. For the value this product should probably last for several months, however I can easily see me go through this much quicker because I'll probably use this as my go-to moisturizer as well. I'm sure I'll use alot of this during the summer months as well.
Well I hope this helps some of you out there that are just waiting to take the plunge and if you do I'm sure you'll be very happy in your purchase (don't forget the customer service as well).
