My great uncle gave me a old razor he had, he cant remember any specific info about it. The pics are after I sanded about a hour on each side. I tried using straights a few years ago with no success, I am hoping I will get it right this time.
Any info on this razor?
Thanks

Just got my copy of Goins yesterday.
According to Goins, the mark with the two dudes without text (that's what I call the Henckels mark) was most likely used During/after 1928 or prior to 1884

ThanksRead the stickies, shave accordingly, and ask if you have questions left. That's how I got into enjoying straight razor shaving.

You can see how perfect this razor can end up... by taking a look at what Max at Madaspen did with the identical razor:

Very nice, all you need to do now is polish it for a couple of hours by hand or...less if you have power tools. Give it a hone and enjoy some AWESOME shaves with it. vintage Henckels are great razors.
