Just bought this little fella on looks alone, it might not even belong to this case. What is it?

I think the correct name is a 'Streamline' and Dave told me he thinks its from the 50's. Mine is packaged as an 'Ambassador' but I don't think that the proper name, just the name of the set I have.

I have one and they are a great shavers! Streamline is what my set was called, so I think that may be correct. I don't know about the case, mine was in a case with a stropper. Maybe Dave or Tom will show up and give us some information on the case. :biggrin:

If razors were cars, this one is a tank! Very heavy, great balance. Feels heavier than any other razor I've held in my hand.

I'm not so sure that "tank" is quite the right image. The fit and the finish on these razors are unsurpassed. Yes, they're heavy and they have tank-like solidity, but the quality of the finish is like a Rolls Royce.
