injector shaving pressure question

I shaved with an injector today for the first time. Overall it was fast and I was happy with the shave, but I did nick myself a few times.
I'm just wondering if you are supposed to not put any pressure like a DE razor, or do you shave it more like a cartridge razor?

I wish I knew when I had mine. I bled every time I used it and eventually re-sold it. I might need to get another one.

However, I would suspect I used too much pressure with mine, which caused the poor shave. Since the blades do not flex and pivot like in a most cartridge razors, too much pressure would just dig into the skin.

I treat the injector exactly like a DE. I find it may be a little more aggressive then a '49 Super Speed. With the Schick China blades the shave is close. A good shave. Much better then a cartridge.
