You go rafting in the Sahara?
Not "the" most remote wilderness, "one of the" most remote. I was referring to Wrangell St. Elias National Park in Alaska. That combined with the protected wilderness in Canada it is adjacent to forms the largest protected wilderness in the world.

You should pour warm water on his hand and see if you can make him pee himself!
Okay Mr. "I want to be your assistant", I'll remember this. :glare:
don't need to, he'll do it on his own!!
You're not helping.
I knew it! That's why he's been siding with me lately!
Okay, I do not condone peeing your pants for fun. However, how many of you can say they've peed on the wall of an 11th century castle? Now that is cool!
why, do you do it to:huh:
He just goes wherever for the fun of it.
Of course not. I've been accused of various urine-related crimes lately. Rest assured, I don't wet the bed.
:lol::lol:
That either. The only "taboo" (according to the hypocrites around here who all have done the same thing but won't admit to it) peeing I do is during water sports such as rafting.
I believe it is the "for the fun of it"part that bothers everyone. :001_rolle
That works, too, but if you're rafting through one of the most remote wildernesses in the world, that may not be an option. Or, if you're not in one of those places, and you think "hey, you know what would be funny".
You're not helping. :001_rolle
New rule: No rafting in the no title bathroom. :001_smile
Or with Adam. :w00t:

Puffins, as being similar (tho not related) to penguins, are on the protected species list. It'll be stuffing and turkey followed by groaning and belt-loosening while wallowing on the Royal Couch.

Nah, actually, she doesn't really supervise either of us. She just isn't having Thanksgiving with her family. I don't know if she's doing it because she knows my roommate and I can't have it with ours (sympathy) or if she doesn't get into Thanksgiving. Either way, we live right next to each other, and it was her idea. I'm cool with it. We are each cooking different things, and I got elected to take care of the turkey. I'd rather do that myself, anyway. I don't trust anyone else to do it.

There were some typos in that article that I had to fix:
Consider the puffin and the penguin. These breakfast treats are found in the same food group and share the same rotund shape. But the similarities stop there. Touch, smell or taste a puffin and a penguin, and your senses will tell you that these birds are two totally different culinary creatures. People with savory tastes go for hearty puffins, while deep-fried penguins woo us with their siren song of sweet.

We did brunch for 20. Yeow. However, my biscuits (made with lard) and bloody mary drinks were a hit! Mrs. Soapbox's cooking talents are especially awesome at brunch dishes. We had a serious spread, plus mimosas, coffee, fruit salad...all on the Christmas china. Whew. Ironically we did. We have a China Service for 24 people (Gheesh) and that is what we used. However, before anyone asks, we did not use Chopsticks. We used the Monogrammed silverware (genuine silver) that we were given as a wedding gift.

Yeah, we tried to make it as nice as we could. We had a few of my troops (single guys) over as well as a few other couples and my wife and I wanted to make it the best we could since we are all over here without our families.

I used to have a very nice set of Gold but it just screamed "look at me I'm trying too hard". I let the ex have it in the divorce.
I'm not fan of leaving the table set up either. We keep the good china and silverware put away where it is safe. I don't need everyone who stops in to see it (not worried about impressing anyone) so it only comes out when we want it to and for those people we'd like to share/enjoy it with.

This is something I have very strong opinions on. Margery was supposed to be healthier for us but is synthetic. Real butter is natural chemicals our bodies are designed to break down. This is true of all substitutes. I refuse to eat oleo, nutrasweet, etc.

My first camping trip this year, we had to go without soda because of obvious refrigeration issues. I have only had one full soda since and that was a Mexican Coke made with cane sugar. I just weighed myself a few days ago and discovered I have not weighed this little since before I got married. I'm pretty excited to be down to 235. Still too fat, but I was up to 270 for a while.

I used to worry that I was over my ideal weight until it occurred to me, I had ripped arms and legs (I've always had a little gut). Obviously, I couldn't be that fat. Now I am but I still don't worry too much. Maybe it's because I'm married and am not trying to pick up chicks anymore.

That is exactly why I gained. I worked construction when I was at my best. Then, I worked as an electrician for three years. Gained a lot there. After that, I was unemployed for nine months. I was really ballooning by this point. That's when I started my current job, 6 1/2 years ago. I quit gaining, but wasn't active enough to lose. I really don't know what the difference has been this last six months to a year. My diet never really changed much through all of that.

This year was the first since getting married that I had gone home for Thanksgiving. It's only a 3 hour ride, but I prefer to at least stay a day, instead of driving 6 hours in one day. So it just hadn't worked out in the last 7 years. It was nice to be back home for Thanksgiving. I brought some leftovers with me, which we will have for supper tonight. My wife made an interesting sammich for lunch of toast with dressing on one side and mayo on the others, and a healthy slab of Turkey in the center.

I simply cannot bring myself to do the dishes. what am I doing wrong? I thought at first that it was because of all the water in that sink (no I don't have a dishwasher) but I'm starting to suspect the Wyverns is at fault.
Well nevermind I'll just buy a new apartment and leave this here :001_smile
Turns out that I cant afford that so what now?
Throw everything out and buy new. Next year, use disposable (paper) plates.

Congrats, Phil! You're my hero!
Who? Never mind.
Gag a maggot on a gut wagon!
Treasonous! That's what it is! Treason!!!!
The Czar hath spoken well. Indeed, he has confirmed that fake turkey is treason!
He is spreading false information! Do not listen! Cover your ears!!! er...eyes!!!!!!
(Thank God for cooler to keep the food from going bad!)
My wife made an interesting sammich for lunch of toast with dressing on one side and mayo on the others, and a healthy slab of Turkey in the center.
And the Czar provides us education as well! All hail the Czar!
Uh-huh.
Frightening! :eek2:
Slim Pickens is there?!
It's treason. Get your capital offences straight. :001_rolle
If I have to choose...the fact it went over Skklog's head.
Reminds me of a song........
Indeed, Mr. Dodgson.
Somehow, I thought he was more of Strawberry Shortcake fellah.
Keep your multiple personality disorder out of this!

WOW. And I thought a SlagleRocknroll was bad! I don't know what the heck that was called, but dude... try some fiber in your diet!

Your best bet is to cause a Flashover (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashover). I actually know a firefighter that survived one. A stand couch is on of the best things to get a good house fire really going.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well... have a safe holiday!
Thanks! I did have a good one, and I hope all of you did as well.
Shoot some stuff for me, Ray! Don't let those skeet get away, they'll only come back angrier!
Have a good one, though, amigo. Happy travels.
Well, it didn't work out. The weather wasn't the best, and we ate later than expected. We had a terrible fog hanging around until about 2 or 3pm. It looked liked Stephen King's The Mist.
Away with you, money, I will sink you that I may not be sunk by you
Well, throw some my way!

Well my sofa is from Ikea so it would probably just say to the fire "If you don't understand how to assemble me just call the Ikea phone support and they will help you" and of course my fire is quite polite so he will call there and while waiting for some help simply succumb under the lack of fuel...

Not saying it was a good idea, but we used to go to this old rock quarry. It was a blast when it was foggy. The shore was cliffs all the way around and you would not be able to see the water at all. We would shoot our shotguns up into the air and wait. after a while, you would hear the shot raining down onto the water. It was cool...and stupid.

I don't know if matters much to y'all, but I just pulled the first turkey I've ever cooked out of the oven. It looks awesome!
Coal looks awesome?
There is something to be said about the way our Grandparents ate growing up (and generations before them). They weren't morbidly obese yet they ate "terrible" according to the docs of the world today.
My g-granpa drank whiskey non-stop, ate fatback with every meal, and everything was cooked in lard. He lived to be 88, the other ggrandpa, drank less, but ate as bad, and lived to be 98.
This is something I have very strong opinions on. Margery was supposed to be healthier for us but is synthetic. Real butter is natural chemicals our bodies are designed to break down. This is true of all substitutes. I refuse to eat oleo, nutrasweet, etc.
I agree. Besides, butters tastes a lot better!
But you have to remember that people worked a lot harder, physically, then than most people do now...
True. They also didn't spend their free time, what little they had, watching TV or getting online. :blushing:

For the record, he said he drank "less", not "he didn't drink at all". Perhaps it was the amount of whiskey that was bad. I like a little sippin' whiskey now and then.
